About

I have been obsessed with flowers ever since I was a young girl and I've turned that passion into my career. One of my earliest memories as a child was “picking” hyacinths from our front flower bed…which actually consisted of me pulling the entire bulb out of the ground, breaking off the flowers and discarding the remains, and then proudly marching the prized beauties inside to my mom. Luckily, my gardening skills have increased dramatically since then.

I grew up with my dad farming for a living and I learned the connection that we have with the land at an early age. There's something miraculous about taking a tiny little seed, giving it the right nourishment and conditions needed for growth, and watching as each one transforms into a plant.

My mom has always been a gardening enthusiast. Each season, I’ve looked forward to joining her on that first trip to the local plant nursery, filled with colorful blooms that just lifts your spirits. Taking our newest additions home, placing them thoughtfully into our gardens, and watching them bloom throughout the season brings such a sense of enjoyment.

When I was a junior in high school, I felt extremely stressed because teachers and counselors would ask: what do you want to be in the future? And I had no idea. Even though I had excellent grades and took advanced courses, the thought of continuing on to more schooling filled me with dread. My parents reassured me to continue working hard, keep an open mind, and that things would all work out.

Over time, that eased my mind and I poured my time and efforts into my high school job. Around the same time, I started following another local flower farmer on social media. I was excited at the thought that growing flowers for a living right here in my own backyard (or front field in my case) was actually a possibility. I dreamed about it, obsessed over it, and planned for it. When I pitched the idea to my parents and they said “let’s do it”, I was ecstatic. And I’ve loved every minute of effort, sweat, early mornings, and late nights ever since.

I have found my passion and become the best version of myself throughout this process. Growing flowers from seed on my family farm is an honor to my heritage and allows me to continue that legacy in my own unique way. There's an overwhelming sense of pride when I then turn those blooms into gorgeous bouquets for your kitchen table and arrangements for your wedding day. To create beauty and share it with all of you is the ultimate fulfillment for me! Follow me on social media for more of a glimpse on what goes on behind-the scenes.
